It's getting towards the time for planting tulips, ideally at the end of October through November, as we feel the temperature dropping a little; and what a show they make in the spring. These combination packs are gorgeous. They can be grown in the ground, of course, or in pots grouped with other plants flowering at either the same time (think muscari, anemone, hellebore) or not, their leaves acting as a foil for the tulips themselves. It will be an ideal time to plant perennials soon, too, in late September to October. Crocus have this discount for all their plants, ready for planting this autumn.

These are interesting! Reasonably priced pop-up cages to stop understandably tempted birds, rabbit and other critters taking a nibble at your succulent and hard worked-for produce.
